Plato

Plato is the versatile software St. Marys Area Auxiliary High School Uses. New students get acquainted with the Fastracks program. The purpose of this is familiarize the student with the developed learning pattern associated with Plato. Completion may take anywhere from 1 to 3 months, depending on the student's learning capacities. It is has two sections: Fast Tracks and the Plato curriculum. Fast Tracks is divided into 3 generalized categories: Math, Reading, and Language Arts. The curriculum itself is separated into more specialized categories, such as Chemistry and Geometry. There are also some courses meant to help out in the real world, like Writing In The Workplace and Pre-Employment Competencies. Most courses follow the same routine, being one or two tutorials, and application, and one or more mastery tests. To master a lesson, a student only has to complete the mastery test with a score of 4 out of 5 questions right. If a student misses too many questions, he or she will have to go through the tutorial before given another chance at the test.
