Spruce Tree

It is a prickly, green tree

The tree bends, stands tall and grows fast

The tree is a beautiful tree

When the birds aren't there to fly,

It's because they flew away in the sky,

In the middle of July,

When it's twenty degrees below,

But don't be worried,

They will come back in a hurry next July.

You beautiful daisy swaying so soft in the wind.

We will miss your beauty when the snow comes.

Your petals loosen and blow in the wind.

The leaves are falling from the trees, and I wonder what happened to the bees. The grass is green but can't be seen under the frost of the winter's early arrival. The sky is so blue it seems like summer, but we know it's far away.
