INTERNET USE IN THE LIBRARY

The computers in the library are there for the purpose of educational research. Students may use computers if they have a legitimate pass from a teacher or studyhall. All students must follow the Acceptable Use Policy for the St. Marys School District.

Sign on as yourself. (Most often this is the first initial of your first name and then your last name, all lowercase and no spaces. The password is for you and you alone.)

Cut and paste information before printing.

File-Save your files to the server or disc.

SIGN OUT-if you don't your files are open to others.

DON'Ts

Don't share personal information-EVER.

Don't get on email or chat lines-STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Don't try to access inappropriate sites
