“Don’t Laugh at Me”

THE CHARACTER TRAIT IS…

* Participate in a community service project with your child

* Catch your child being caring, kind or generous to another person.

* Never underestimate how important you are to your child or how powerful a role model. If you are kind and helpful, that is what your child will learn.

* Create Valentines for people that would not normally receive them and hand then out on the holiday.

* Read a story with your child and talk about all of the caring things that happened in the story. Discuss how your child may be able to do these things for himself.
