6) Best dog treat recipe to help your dog repel fleas and have fido begging for more treats is: 1 cup flour 1/4 cup of wheat germ 1/4 cup brewer's yeast 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder ( take out garlic powder and replace with 1/4 cup mint leaves and 1/4 cup parsley for better breath treats) 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil 1/2 cup Chicken Stock Heat oven to 200 F. Mix ingredients into a dough. Roll out the dough and cut with cookie cutters and bake on cookie sheet for 30 minutes at 200 F. Turn off oven and allow the biscuits to sit on the cookie sheets until next morning and they are completely dry. Store in airtight containers or freeze extra treats. DOGS LOVE THESE and the fleas are repelled by the yeast and the garlic powder.

7) Best Woodpecker and bird suet for your feeders: 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup Crisco or lard 1 cup flour 3 cups of yellow corn meal Melt crisco until liquid. Mix in all ingredients. Put in plastic molds or shape by hand. Freeze unused blocks in freezer bags.   Eligibility reports due on Thursday morning 8:00am.
