the Harcourt Brace story "Lionel in Winter", students will read
orally and retell using teacher-made sequence cards. Students will discuss how the main character related to his
family and differences. Using Don't
Laught at Me Unit 4, Lesson 2, discuss families and differences among them.
Students will create a 9 patch paper quilt, highlighting things which define
their families. Students will share
with class.
