write about a time when they were in a conflict that has escalated.

will vary based upon each student’s experiences.
2. Performance Question:**
Write a summary of Ann Frank: The Dairy of a Your Girl. Include character, setting and important
events in your summary.

Activity: Students will complete the Coming Down the Escalator with
“I” Messages activity from the Don’t Laugh At Me Activity Book. They will listen to some “you” messages that
causes conflict to escalate and turn the “you” messages into “I” messages.
