Performance
Question: How do we demonstrate our classroom/group
agreements for working and learning together?
Answer: Given a
scenario, students will role play the above three examples of being ignored,
rejected, and gossiped about. They will play the perpetrators and victim, then
role play students who work cooperatively with each other.

ACTIVITY:
CREATE GROUP AGREEMENTS. Cowls to develop a list of rules for working and
learning together as a community that will help us create a process that
fosters a positive, orderly, law abiding school climate. All Ideas accepted; no
comments made about any ideas presented. Students will then brainstorm a list of ideas for making a group work together
productively, communicating effectively and treat each other respectfully.
Sample list: avoid being judgmental; keep what is said confidential; be open
and honest; listen and discover rather than giving advice. Everyone has right
to privacy and confidentiality, and to be respected.
