1. Paper/Pencil:* How can we express our thoughts?

 

 

     Answer: By drawing a picture, talking about our thoughts or dictating (telling) our thoughts to someone to write down.

 

 

 

2.  Performance Question:. After reading about rainbows, the students will draw a rainbow and tell someone orally or write it down on their picture, what they would find at the end of a rainbow.

 

 

     Assessment Tool: Teacher observation, demonstration, discussion, work samples

 

 

Activity: Read “My Many Colored Days”, afterwards the class will discuss feelings.  They will learn the song “If Your Happy and you know it………  then they will make faces of how they feel.  These will be displayed on a bulletin board or in the room.

 

Duration: One 30minute class period
