2. Performance Question:. After listening to the story I Like Me by Nancy

Carlson, the students will be able to share with each other what they like about themselves. Then name one nice idea about one of their classmates.

Assessment Tool: Teacher observation, discussion, oral presentation

Activity: The students will focus on self-esteem and reinforce the topic using

the book I’m Special. A cooperative activity of building a turkey using

feathers with students strong points will be used.

Duration: One 30-minute class period
