Assessment Question:*

 

1. Paper/Pencil:* What skills do we use to participate successfully in a conversation?

 

 

 

     Answer:  By taking turns, initiating sentences and asking questions.

 

 

 

2.  Performance Question:.  During a class discussion about insects, the students will learn the rhyme Ladybug, Ladybug What Do You See and be able to recite it.

 

 

     Assessment Tool:

Teacher observation, demonstration, oral presentation

 

 

 

Activity:* After discussing with the class, resolving conflict and improving communication, the students will be able to recite and remember these 3 steps: (1) Tell the person to stop (2) Move Away (3) Only if it continues to tell the teacher.

 

Duration: One 30minute class period
