Hello Dutch Families! The following information has been provided by School and City Officials regarding an upcoming paving project in the Sara and Ford Road areas, that will impact vehicle travel in our district. Paving will be completed the entire length of Sara Road, as well as Ford Road from Sara to Krug Lane. The project is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Friday, October 27th, and run through November 3rd, weather permitting. Please find the tentative schedule below.
- Friday, October 27th: Mill and Fill Ford Rd / Sara Rd (One lane road expect delays)
- Monday, October 30th : (expected weather delay) Mill and Fill Ford Rd / Sara Rd (One lane road expect delays)
- Tuesday, October 31st : (expected weather delay) Mill and Fill Ford Rd / Sara Rd (One lane road expect delays)
- Wednesday, November 1st : Mill and Fill Ford Rd / Sara Rd (One lane road expect delays)
- Thursday, November 2nd : 2” paving overlay / Sara Rd (One lane road expect major delays)
- Friday, November 3nd : 2” paving overlay / Sara Rd (One lane road expect major delays)
For School Families - It's important to note that vehicles entering the HS/MS Campus should enter and exit through the main driveway. School vehicles to and from all schools will likely run into delays for pick up and drop off times due to construction zones.
