Homebound Instruction

Homebound instruction shall be provided to students confined to home or hospitalized for physical disability, illness, injury, urgent reasons, or when such confinement is recommended for psychological or psychiatric reasons. Homebound instruction will be provided for students who are absent for ten (10) consecutive days or longer, upon proper application and documentation. The period of homebound instruction for an individual shall be re-evaluated every three (3) months. The parents/guardians of the student must submit to the building principal and/or school counselor a request for homebound instruction, upon the recommendation from a licensed physician.
