Even better, dental care is usually at no cost to you. All insurance is accepted including Medicaid and PA CHIP. A low cost self-pay option is available for those without insurance.

Our in-school dental program saves you time and provides a safe and comfortable place for your child to receive gentle dental care from licensed local professionals. Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary, and in some cases, restorative care such as fillings.

Tentative St. Marys Area School District dates are listed below:
- Bennetts Valley Elementary -January 27th
- Fox Township Elementary- January 28th
- South St Marys Street Elementary- January 29th
- St Marys Area Middle School- January 30th
- St Marys Area Senior High- January 31st
There are several options available for parents and students in the St. Marys Area School District to meet 28 PA Code (regulations) 23.3(a)* states "Dental examinations shall be required on original entry into school and in grades three and seven." Parents may choose to have a dental examination performed by their Family Dental Provider, participate in the SMILE Mobile Dentist Program, or choose to have a dental screening provided by the SMASD Dentist, Dr. Nedzinski on April 17th.
