Welcome Message

It is with much excitement that I take the seat of Superintendent for the St. Marys Area School District. I truly consider this an honor. For nearly thirty years, Elk County has been my home, and for twenty of those years I have had the privilege of serving this school community. As both a community member and a parent, I have experienced firsthand the strength, heart, and resilience that define our schools and the families we serve.

 

Our district’s mission, providing a World Class Education with the Rural Advantage, captures what makes this community so special. We pair high expectations and exceptional opportunities with the close‑knit support, relationships, and values that come from living and learning in a rural community. Every day, I see our students benefit from this powerful combination.

 

I am deeply grateful for the trust placed in me and excited to continue working alongside our dedicated educators, staff, families, and community partners. Together, we will continue to build on our strong foundation, ensuring that every student from PreK through 12th grade is supported, challenged, and inspired. I remain committed to leading with integrity, collaboration, and an unwavering focus on what matters most - our students.

 

Elk County is a remarkable place to learn and grow, and I am honored to continue serving this community.
